Meet David Dion
Music Educator, Composer, Producer
As a life-long music educator, I am dedicated to providing exceptional remote, live instrumental lessons online. With 30 years of experience and convenience in mind, I cater primarily to young learners and their parents seeking quality piano, drumset, or guitar instruction at home.
My goal is helping students build real musical skills while enjoying the learning process. Every student learns differently, so lessons are personalized to match individual goals, interests, and experience levels.
Whether your child is just starting out or you're returning to piano as an adult, lessons are designed to build confidence while making learning enjoyable.

What our parents say
“Our homeschool student has been participating in remote piano instruction with David for nearly 2 years now, and continues to look forward to her lesson every week! He is always encouraging and very good at engaging and maintaining interest and motivation. She has progressed from being a complete beginner to truly enjoying playing increasingly complex, impressive pieces. We couldn’t be happier with his instruction! ”
— Gaby D., Parent of Piano Student
“The patience and encouragement shown during each piano lesson has really helped my son build confidence. He’s now practicing on his own without being asked, playing music from his favorite movies & holiday songs.”
— Michael D., Parent of Piano Student

Frequently Asked Questions
Are online piano lessons good for beginners?
Yes. Online piano lessons work very well for beginners when lessons are structured, interactive, and age-appropriate.
What age should my child start piano lessons?
Many children can begin around ages 6–7, depending on attention span and interest.
Do we need a real piano?
A keyboard or digital piano is fine for most beginner students.
How long are lessons?
Our lessons are usually 30 minutes long, that is the ideal duration for young learners - it keeps the lessons fun and avoids overwhelming a student with too much content.
